Role Overview

The Quality Inspector position is central to our manufacturing operations in Olomouc. You'll be responsible for inspecting components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet exacting specifications and regulatory requirements. Working within our production environment, you'll identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with the operations team to maintain the high quality standards our customers expect from Smiths Group.

What You'll Do

• Conduct systematic inspections of parts and products using precision measurement tools and established quality procedures
• Evaluate materials and workmanship against technical drawings, standards, and quality documentation
• Document inspection results, defects, and corrective actions in a clear and timely manner
• Escalate quality issues to supervisors and production teams to prevent non-conforming products from reaching customers
• Perform sampling inspections and statistical quality checks as required by our quality management system
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Proven experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar quality-focused role
• Proficiency with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and methodically
• Understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and quality standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance
