Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential sustainability-tech organization seeking a Working Student in Cloud & DevOps Engineering to support their production Azure environment. In this hands-on role, you will:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker
- Manage and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support the design and implementation of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Build automation tools and scripts for cloud operations
- Maintain cloud resource hygiene, including tagging, naming conventions, and documentation
- Support network security, logging, and monitoring for critical services
- Contribute to security and compliance documentation
- Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and security of the cloud environment
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Currently enrolled student in Computer Science or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Git
- Some scripting experience with Python or Bash
- Strong interest in cloud computing, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure
- Self-driven and independent working style with ability to take ownership of problems
- Comfortable using modern AI/LLM tools to research, learn, and solve complex technical problems
- Attention to detail and strong technical writing skills
- Fluent in English
Preferred experience:
- Exposure to a major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with Docker or infrastructure as code, especially Terraform
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Interest in cloud security, compliance, or governance
