Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction organization in the Osterburg area that is seeking motivated individuals to join their dual study programme in Civil Engineering (Hochbau) starting in 2027. Through this programme, you will combine academic study with hands-on vocational training in a construction trade from their training portfolio. You will develop both technical knowledge and practical skills over the course of nine semesters, alternating between classroom learning and real-world construction experience. During your final phase, you will prepare a Bachelor thesis addressing an authentic challenge facing the construction industry today.

• General or subject-specific university entrance qualification (Abitur), Fachhochschulreife, or equivalent qualification
• Willingness to enter into a practical training contract with our client organization
• Genuine interest in the construction industry and civil engineering

Programme Structure: Study at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal over 9 semesters. During the first three years, you will study during winter semesters (October through February) and alternate semester-by-semester between university and vocational training. You will earn your skilled trade qualification at the end of the third training semester, then complete your final three semesters exclusively at university, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
