Técnico Mantenedor de Sistema de Lubricación

SGS is hiring a Técnico Mantenedor de Sistema de Lubricación for our operations in Lima, Provincia de Lima, PE. This contract position combines inspection expertise with hands-on field maintenance to keep critical lubrication systems performing at peak efficiency.

About the Role

As a Lubrication System Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnostics, and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated lubrication systems used across industrial facilities. Your work ensures equipment operates reliably, safely, and within specification, directly supporting our clients' operational continuity and asset protection strategies. Based in Lima, you'll work on-site at client locations, bringing technical precision and problem-solving skills to every assignment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test lubrication system components, including pumps, filters, lines, and storage tanks, using industry-standard diagnostic tools
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lubricant circulation and delivery systems
• Sample and analyse lubricant condition; document fluid properties and recommend replacement or treatment when necessary
• Identify system inefficiencies, leaks, or potential failures and provide technical recommendations
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and generate inspection reports for client delivery
• Comply with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all field operations

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in lubrication system maintenance, equipment inspection, or industrial field testing
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, or other lubricant-dependent systems
• Proficiency with pressure gauges, thermometers, contamination counters, and basic analytical instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications precisely
• Spanish fluency (written and spoken); additional languages an advantage
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites throughout Lima and surrounding areas
