Project Engineer (m/f/d) – Service Sales

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential energy technology organization operating across Germany. We're seeking a Project Engineer to support their service sales division, working at the intersection of technical project delivery and commercial growth within power systems integration.

This remote role combines warranty phase management and customer interface responsibilities (30%) with revenue-focused service sales activities (70%). You'll work directly with project stakeholders to transition installations into long-term service contracts while managing technical closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for clients during project warranty phases and technical closeout activities
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to resolve open items and complete warranty scope for platform systems and auxiliaries
• Create, review, and release work permits for site closure actions
• Develop campaign schedules and resource plans for issue resolution with clients
• Lead sales activities targeting the installed base, preparing quotations that drive revenue growth
• Support procurement of materials and goods as required for project completion
• Apply technical expertise and data analysis to inform engineering decisions

What We're Looking For

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience in project management deliveries
• Engineering background with operational experience
• Sales-oriented mindset with strong customer focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to develop compelling offers for stakeholders
• Fluency in both German and English (required)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with flexible hours
