About the Role

RR Donnelley is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator with proven experience to support our manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina. In this full-time role, you'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize products and materials throughout our warehouse and production areas. Your attention to safety, precision, and efficiency will directly impact our operational success and help us deliver quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, lift, and position materials in designated areas
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage racks, following established procedures and weight limits
• Maintain organized and clean work areas, ensuring materials are stored properly and inventory is accessible
• Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any damage or maintenance needs to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols, workplace procedures, and company guidelines to maintain a secure environment
• Communicate effectively with production and warehouse team members to coordinate material movement and meet operational schedules

Skills & Qualifications

• Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production setting
• Strong knowledge of material handling safety practices and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting and material handling duties
• Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and commitment to accident prevention
