About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Talent Scientist to join their remote EMEA-based team. This is not a traditional recruiting role—you will be applying rigorous scientific methodologies to talent selection, working directly with business leaders to ensure they can identify and hire exceptional candidates from a global pool.

Our client has built a unique hiring model where business leaders drive talent decisions, supported by a specialized team that ensures processes remain objective, data-driven, and free from bias. As a Talent Scientist, you'll combine behavioral psychology, data analytics, and process optimization to elevate how the organization selects talent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews using competency-based and psychometric assessment techniques, providing insights into candidate motivations and fit
• Drive talent analytics and real-time reporting to support efficient decision-making across hiring processes
• Partner with global stakeholders to monitor hiring activities, ensure process consistency, and deliver against hiring objectives
• Generate data-driven insights to strengthen decision-making frameworks and validate selection approaches
• Review and optimize hiring processes and tools to drive continuous improvement and maximize ROI on assessment platforms
• Collaborate with external assessment providers and platforms to ensure effective utilization
• Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, actively removing unconscious bias from selection processes
• Train and advise business leaders on effective interviewing techniques and talent evaluation

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related behavioral science discipline
• Experience hiring talent within technology or consulting environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in SQL for trend and pattern identification
• Data-driven mindset with ability to create and track measurable outcomes
• Passion for applying scientific approaches to talent selection and predicting hiring success
• Exposure to psychometric assessments and their interpretation
• Proven ability to conduct behavioral, competency-based interviews and train others in these techniques
• High degree of self-organization and effectiveness in remote work environments
• Willingness to travel for company events 2-4 times annually for up to two weeks each

Preferred:

• Experience with Python and advanced statistical analysis
• Background in sourcing and headhunting, particularly for senior leadership roles
• Statistical significance testing, Bayesian inference, or predictive analytics/ML experience
• Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, Greenhouse, DISC profiling, or Superset
• Knowledge of psychometric validity and reliability metrics
