What This Role Involves

As a Senior Quotations Specialist at REXEL, you'll be the skilled professional behind accurate, competitive quotes that close sales. Your expertise in pricing structures, product configuration, and customer requirements will enable the sales team to move deals forward confidently. You'll combine attention to detail with business acumen to ensure every proposal reflects both our competitive advantage and the customer's true needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and deliver customized quotations based on customer specifications and sales inquiries
• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer needs and translate them into accurate, compelling proposals
• Manage quote timelines to meet customer deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Maintain pricing knowledge and stay current with product portfolios, available options, and promotional programs
• Configure complex product bundles and multi-site orders to customer specifications
• Follow up with customers and the sales team on quote status and next steps
• Analyze quote data to identify trends and support continuous improvement in the quoting process
• Mentor and support junior team members in quotation processes and best practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quotations Specialist or equivalent role in a sales-driven environment
• Strong command of quoting software and CRM systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills under pressure
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with sales and operations teams
• High accuracy and attention to detail in pricing and proposal preparation
• Familiarity with electrical distribution or supply chain operations is a plus
