Senior SEO Manager (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media and marketing organization seeking a Senior SEO Manager to lead cutting-edge search optimization initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Pioneer AI Search Strategies: Conduct innovative GEO/GSO audits and analyze client visibility across AI-powered platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
• Competitive Benchmarking & Prompt Analysis: Evaluate brand presence in the "prompt universe," understand the key differences between AI search and traditional search, and derive strategic recommendations.
• Strategic Consulting & Implementation: Develop and execute customized SEO and GEO strategies, perform detailed technical website audits, and assess brands' "GEO-readiness."
• KPI-Driven Analytics: Analyze AI, SEO, and on-site factors using key performance indicators. Create monthly reports and dashboards using Google Cloud and Looker Studio.
• Process Automation: Design and build AI agent workflows to deliver significant efficiency gains for clients and internal teams.
• Holistic Client Advisory: Integrate SEO and GEO seamlessly into clients' media and marketing mix. Lead projects independently and provide strategic counsel as a trusted partner.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Successfully completed degree or commercial training in marketing (or comparable qualification).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of solid SEO experience with proven contributions to demanding client projects.
• AI Tools Proficiency: Experience with AI visibility tools (e.g., Peec AI, Profound, or similar platforms) — or strong willingness and curiosity to master this ecosystem within the first three months.
• Technical Toolset: Confident handling of industry-standard tools including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and GA4.
• Working Style: Independent, structured approach, strong team player mentality, and excellent communication skills.
• Language: Professional proficiency in German is required for this role.
