Chief Strategy Officer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization building AI-native productivity applications. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to executive leadership, responsible for shaping group-wide strategy across multiple business units and products.

We are seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to own strategic direction, evaluate new markets and opportunities, and drive execution of major corporate initiatives. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to define where a growing technology company competes and invests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine group-level strategy across existing business lines, new products, and target markets
• Evaluate emerging market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to recommend investment priorities
• Build comprehensive business cases and financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Lead execution of strategic initiatives including market expansion, partnership development, and potential M&A activities
• Monitor competitive developments and identify strategic risks and opportunities across the portfolio
• Own corporate positioning and communications for major company announcements and developments
• Partner with business unit leaders to translate high-level strategy into actionable execution plans and priorities

What We're Looking For

• Proven strategy experience in technology companies, high-growth startups, strategy consulting, investment firms, or as a founder
• Track record of developing and executing strategies that delivered measurable business results
• Strong commercial acumen and financial judgment with ability to evaluate markets, businesses, and investment opportunities
• Advanced analytical skills with hands-on ability to build business cases and financial models
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to distill complex business concepts into clear narratives
• Experience with corporate development, investments, M&A, or corporate communications preferred
• Hands-on operating style with willingness to personally conduct research, analysis, and strategic documentation
• Comfort working in a remote environment with distributed teams
