Senior Clinical Research Associate/ Clinical Research Associate II

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate/Clinical Research Associate II for a fully remote position based in the UK or Northern Ireland.

In this role, you will monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites, ensuring that all studies are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulations. You will coordinate necessary activities to set up and monitor studies, including identifying investigators, preparing regulatory submissions, and conducting pre-study and initiation visits.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Serving as a protocol expert with a manageable portfolio of studies
• Conducting site visits and investigator meetings with thorough preparation
• Identifying potential study risks and proposing mitigation solutions
• Managing site relationships and resolving conflicts using proven strategies
• Ensuring quality outcomes and compliance across all monitored sites

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• More than 1 year of CRA experience within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry
• Availability for domestic travel including overnight stays (approximately 50-60% travel commitment; international travel may be required for senior-level positions)
• Fluency in English

Desirable experience:

• Oncology experience
• Early phase clinical trial experience
