About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential life sciences consulting organization seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP-PI) Consultant to join their growing team in India. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP PP-PI best practices within complex manufacturing environments. You'll work across diverse, multicultural teams and contribute to cutting-edge co-innovation initiatives with top-tier life sciences organizations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with clients to implement and optimize SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Process Industries (PP-PI) solutions
• Lead build, testing, and deployment phases with emphasis on manufacturing and production planning best practices
• Provide strategic guidance on production planning, batch management, MRP, MES, and shop floor execution to optimize resource utilization and minimize lead times
• Design SAP templates and deliver business consulting services specific to PP-PI module requirements
• Ensure seamless integration of PP-PI with finance, logistics, and material management modules
• Work within multi-language, multicultural, and multi-disciplinary project teams
• Participate in research and development functions to create industry-leading product innovations

What We're Looking For

• 7–12 years of experience in large-scale SAP implementation projects, with participation in at least two complete project lifecycles as an SAP PP-PI Consultant
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Process Industries module
• Deep understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes, including MRP and MES
• Proven ability to provide business consulting services and strategic guidance on SAP PP-PI best practices
• Knowledge of SAP PP-PI integration points with other SAP modules
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to see the bigger picture and collaborate effectively
• Previous experience with Big 4, major systems integrators, or specialist SAP consulting firms preferred
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or process manufacturing industries highly advantageous
• Location: Anywhere in India; Bangalore preferred
