Senior Brand Designer (IGT1)

IFS is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our team in Colombo on a full-time basis. In this strategic role, you will lead the visual identity and brand experience that defines how customers interact with our products and services.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Brand Designer at IFS, you will shape the cohesive brand presence that spans multiple customer touchpoints. This is a leadership position where your design expertise and vision will influence how our brand is perceived in the market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence across all customer-facing materials, communications, and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the visual identity system, including logos, colour palettes, typography, and design components
• Create and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines that ensure consistency across all channels and applications
• Lead creative direction for marketing materials, digital assets, and customer communications
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer service teams to align brand expression with business objectives
• Develop strategic design solutions that enhance the overall customer experience
• Mentor junior designers and provide design expertise and guidance on projects
• Review and approve brand implementations to maintain quality standards and consistency

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise in brand design, visual identity systems, and design strategy
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design software and creative tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful brand projects and creative leadership
• Experience developing and implementing comprehensive brand guidelines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders
• Knowledge of contemporary design trends and branding best practices
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience in a senior design role
