Creative Strategist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential early-stage technology client building tools for independent local businesses. They are seeking a Creative Strategist to own social presence, brand voice, and creative output during a formative growth phase. This is a founding-level role based in Bonn, Germany, working in person with a small, ambitious team.

Our client values exceptional creative instincts, hands-on execution, and a deep appreciation for independent hospitality businesses. You will find compelling human stories, produce them yourself, and turn organic content into measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Own social strategy, brand voice, and all creative output for the company
• Identify and tell compelling human stories from independent businesses
• Develop concepts, write, shoot, direct, edit, and publish content independently
• Conduct and direct on-camera interviews with business owners, customers, and team members
• Build authentic user-generated content and creator formats
• Rapidly test platforms, formats, hooks, and narratives
• Analyze performance data, iterate on successful content, and translate organic wins into paid campaigns
• Use AI tools to enhance production quality while maintaining authentic feel
• Over time, recruit and direct a creative team while staying close to hands-on work

What We're Looking For

• Proven creative execution: Portfolio demonstrating social or video work you personally created that achieved strong performance—not just strategy documents
• Full-stack production skills: Ability to identify stories, direct subjects on camera, shoot, edit, and analyze results independently
• Brand and performance fluency: Deep understanding of both creative craft and performance marketing, including paid social mechanics
• AI tool proficiency: Comfortable using modern AI tools to elevate work without compromising authenticity
• Language requirement: Fluency in both German and English
• Interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust with local business owners and make them comfortable on camera
• Exceptional taste: Strong internet culture instincts and demonstrated creative judgment
• Passion for independent business: Genuine interest in helping local cafés, restaurants, shops, and hospitality businesses succeed

Pay

The employer is offering €65,000–€125,000 salary plus 0.4%–1% equity, depending on experience and seniority. This is a pre-seed founding role with significant ownership and influence over brand, product, and company direction.
