Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential professional services firm in Krefeld seeking a qualified tax specialist. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of clients throughout the year, maintaining direct communication and providing comprehensive support beyond routine processing.
- Independent preparation of financial accounting for assigned clients
- Preparation and completion of annual financial statements and tax returns
- Correspondence with clients and tax authorities
- Collaboration with colleagues across audit and legal advisory functions
- Participation in digital workflow improvements and development of firm standards
What We're Looking For
Our client values both technical expertise and the ability to take ownership while working collaboratively. The ideal candidate brings a structured approach to work and strong digital aptitude, along with:
- Completed vocational training as Steuerfachangestellter (tax clerk), ideally supplemented with Steuerfachwirt (tax specialist) qualification
- Excellent knowledge of DATEV software systems
- Experience in financial accounting; payroll accounting experience is a plus
- Enthusiasm for the tax profession and enjoyment of teamwork with both clients and colleagues
- Strong communication skills in German
