Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential fintech client in Eschborn who needs support with activation outreach. As a working student, you will:
- Contact merchants by phone who have received payment hardware but have not yet activated or begun using it
- Conduct brief discovery calls to understand barriers to activation
- Provide first-step guidance and answer simple onboarding questions
- Identify when issues require escalation to the support team
- Document conversations and relevant merchant feedback
- Report recurring feedback and potential issues to the team
Scope: Approximately 3–5 calls per working day or 15–25 calls per week; total workload approximately 5 hours per week
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a university or higher education institution
- Enjoy phone communication and feel comfortable proactively calling merchants
- Fluent German with confident and friendly telephone manner
- Open, friendly communication style with a peer-to-peer approach
- Enjoy engaging with people and helping in an uncomplicated way
- Reliable, independent, and detail-oriented
- Good judgment about when to solve problems independently versus seeking team support
- Prior customer service or phone experience is a plus but not required
