(Senior) Developer (m/w/d) – Fullstack oder Backend

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hosting technology company seeking a Senior Developer to join their innovative engineering team in Espelkamp, Germany. This is a greenfield development opportunity where you'll build next-generation features using modern technologies rather than maintaining legacy systems.

Working alongside developers, architects, and product owners, you'll create event-based microservices using TypeScript, Go, and Node.js. The tech stack includes React, REST, OpenAPI, gRPC, CQRS, event sourcing, domain-driven design, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Temporal workflow engine, and GitLab with comprehensive monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and develop interactive, responsive web applications for hosting management systems
• Build new features in either fullstack or backend capacity
• Maintain and enhance existing web services and microservices architecture
• Participate actively in design and code sprints, contributing creative ideas and out-of-the-box thinking
• Implement unit and integration tests with strict typing for code quality and reliability
• Collaborate with a team of like-minded engineers to experiment with new approaches and maintain high quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience developing web applications
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Go, or TypeScript
• Proficiency with Git version control, pull request workflows, and standard CI solutions
• Experience with Docker and REST APIs
• Creativity, humor, and genuine passion for emerging technologies
• Ability to work in German or English within a German-based team
