The Opportunity

As a Personal Trainer at Equinox's Calabasas location, you'll partner directly with members to achieve their health and wellness goals through science-based training programming and motivational coaching. You'll operate within our Woodland Hills service area, leveraging Equinox's premium facilities, cutting-edge equipment, and supportive community to drive measurable member results.

Your Responsibilities

• Design personalized training programs tailored to each member's fitness level, goals, and health history
• Conduct fitness assessments and establish baseline metrics to track progress
• Lead engaging one-on-one and small-group training sessions with expert form coaching and real-time feedback
• Educate members on proper exercise technique, safety, and evidence-based fitness principles
• Monitor client progress, adjust programming for continued improvement, and celebrate milestones
• Maintain detailed session notes and member records to ensure continuity of care
• Stay current with fitness certifications, industry trends, and Equinox training methodologies
• Create an inclusive, motivating atmosphere that embodies Equinox's commitment to member success

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification from a nationally recognized organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NFPT, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrable knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and training principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate diverse clients
• Professional experience in one-on-one or group fitness training
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-service focused mindset
