Implementation Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in the UK that is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join their growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys guiding customers through technical onboarding and helping them realize value quickly from cloud-based software solutions.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will own the customer journey from kickoff through go-live for small to mid-sized accounts. You'll manage project plans, lead training sessions, support data migration, and ensure customers adopt best practices that set them up for long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation projects, maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring on-time delivery
• Partner with firm administrators and key users to align priorities and maintain project momentum
• Lead kickoff meetings, configuration sessions, and training sessions using established frameworks
• Guide customers on platform best practices for workflow setup and daily usage
• Support change management by helping teams prepare for new processes and reinforcing adoption
• Assist with data imports, leveraging Excel and other tools to ensure accuracy
• Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays to senior team members when needed
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support teams for seamless handoffs
• Use AI tools including ChatGPT to support project planning, communications, and process optimization
• Help customers achieve early wins that demonstrate measurable value

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2-4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS implementations
• End-to-end technical implementation experience
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Confidence facilitating meetings and training sessions with administrators and end users
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate technical concepts clearly
• Consultative approach with openness to feedback and eagerness to grow advisory skills
• Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy and follow-through
• Comfort working with data and systems, ensuring integrity during migrations
• Adaptability and resilience in evolving environments
• Comfort working remotely and managing time independently

Bonus points for:

• Experience in the accounting or tax industry
• Previous work with workflow, accounting, or project management software
• Background in software onboarding or enterprise implementations
• Knowledge of change management frameworks
• Experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments
