About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media organisation in their search for an Associate Director, Planning to join a high-profile government sector account team in London. This is a hybrid role requiring approximately four days per week in the office.

As Associate Director, you will be critical to delivering exceptional planning work for a significant public sector client. You'll work closely with senior leadership to manage projects from inception to completion, acting as the primary interface for clients and bringing together specialist teams to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day account operations, ensuring workflow accuracy and adherence to campaign management best practices
  • Lead planning projects from start to finish, coordinating cross-functional specialist teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and relationship management
  • Build and maintain trusted strategic partnerships with clients, demonstrating deep understanding of their business objectives
  • Support the management and development of Planners and Executives on the team
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and drive measurable business results
  • Manage workload prioritisation and delegation across the account team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to accuracy
  • Team player mentality with empathetic, self-aware approach
  • Experience working on government or public sector accounts is advantageous
