HSE-Koordinator / Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsschutzkoordinator (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential energy infrastructure organization seeking an HSE Coordinator / Safety and Health Protection Coordinator for a major construction project in Weiden in der Oberpfalz. This role oversees workplace safety, health protection, and environmental compliance on active construction sites.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing workplace safety, health, and environmental protection according to HSE management systems and construction site regulations
• Creating, maintaining, and implementing safety and health protection plans (SiGe-Plan)
• Conducting and documenting safety inspections, training sessions, and audits
• Advising construction and project management on all HSE-relevant matters
• Serving as liaison with authorities and contractors on safety matters
• Coordinating and monitoring compliance with client standards, legal requirements, and internal processes

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with:

• Completed degree in civil engineering or technical training with advanced qualification as Occupational Safety Specialist or SiGeKo (RAB 30, Annex B/C)
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in HSE or safety management, ideally in civil engineering, plant construction, or power plant construction
• Knowledge of HSE management systems, relevant standards (e.g., ISO 45001), and procurement law
• Proficient use of MS Office, MS Project, AVA, and SharePoint
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Willingness to travel within Bavaria
