Associate Director Quality Compliance / QA Client

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia, seeking an Associate Director Quality Compliance / QA Client to lead strategic and operational quality oversight.

In this role, you will ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements and advance the quality management system through:

• Leading and developing teams across Client Communication & Auditing, Data Integrity, Regulatory Intelligence, and Release Management
• Ensuring site audit and inspection readiness, including planning, organizing, and tracking audits, inspections, and associated CAPAs
• Serving as the primary quality representative during regulatory inspections and customer audits
• Overseeing data integrity compliance within GMP processes and implementing measures to investigate and mitigate risks
• Managing internal compliance assessments and self-inspection programs at the site
• Building and maintaining a global network to foster collaboration across sites for continuous quality management system improvement
• Promoting a sustainable quality culture and speak-up environment within the organization
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives

What We're Looking For

• PhD or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or a comparable scientific discipline
• More than 10 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical GMP environments, ideally in sterile manufacturing or CDMO settings
• Substantial experience in Quality Assurance with comprehensive knowledge of FDA and EMA requirements
• Several years of leadership experience, preferably at least 5 years managing QA teams
• Experience establishing and managing inspection-readiness programs and leading regulatory inspections
• Strong communication and leadership competencies
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
