Product-Manager SaaS (m/w/d)- Hamburg

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization based in Hamburg, Germany, seeking an experienced Product Manager to shape the strategic direction of their B2B platform. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with development and customer operations teams, translating user needs into product decisions that drive real business value.

Our client serves agencies, consultancies, and IT service providers with tools that streamline their core workflows around project management, billing, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead product conceptualization by identifying the underlying needs behind feature requests and developing holistic solution approaches that are ready for development handoff
• Collaborate on product design using tools like Figma, ensuring interfaces remain intuitive, clear, and user-friendly
• Maintain regular direct contact with customers to challenge assumptions and distinguish genuine needs from surface-level requests
• Actively participate in testing and quality assurance throughout the development cycle, providing feedback to ensure features meet original requirements
• Think strategically about product direction by recognizing patterns in customer feedback, market developments, and technical possibilities to help establish clear priorities
• Communicate product updates through blog posts and documentation, explaining new features and their value in clear, accessible language

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in product management within B2B SaaS environments, from conception through release
• Strong understanding of how agencies, consultancies, and IT service providers operate—ideally from direct experience or previous work on products serving this segment
• Awareness of industry trends in technology, design, and product strategy, with genuine interest in emerging capabilities like AI beyond the hype
• Excellent written communication skills in German—not just clear and error-free, but persuasive and engaging
• Familiarity with product design tools, particularly Figma, with an eye for what makes interfaces work well
• Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments
• Bonus: Previous familiarity with project management platforms used by creative and professional services firms

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Hamburg with a hybrid work model. The expectation is 2–3 days per week in the office, with flexibility for remote weeks when needed. Our client provides top-tier equipment and maintains a modern office environment in central Hamburg.
