Head of Marketing (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential nutraceuticals manufacturing organization based in Hamburg. Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead their entire marketing and communications strategy in a B2B environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position reporting directly to executive leadership.

As the marketing leader, you'll drive measurable growth across the buyer journey, building marketing as a scalable growth engine. You'll work closely with business development, sales, and product teams to translate technical advantages into compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy from positioning through lead generation
• Build and manage growth and performance marketing across B2B channels including content, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, email automation, and trade events
• Conduct continuous trend analysis and launch responsive marketing campaigns
• Translate scientific and technical product benefits into clear, effective messaging for different target audiences
• Manage the buyer journey and align marketing tightly with sales to generate qualified leads and conversions
• Own brand, website, content, and consistent external communications
• Lead, build, and develop the marketing team while managing external partners and agencies
• Deploy AI tools and models professionally across content creation, research, campaigns, and analytics
• Drive data-informed decisions through KPI definition, campaign analysis, and continuous optimization
• Manage marketing budget and resource planning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in life sciences, nutraceuticals, pharma, or technical/complex industries
• Proactive energy and drive to advance initiatives independently
• Strategic and operational thinking with ability to connect product, market, audience, and channels
• Strong foundation in growth marketing and buyer journey understanding
• Enthusiasm for marketing technical and explanation-intensive products and services
• Ability to build connections internally with teams and externally with customers and partners
• Continuous learning mindset and curiosity
• Professional use of AI models for efficient, high-impact work
• Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills across multiple priorities
• Resilience and ability to remain effective under pressure
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken) required
• Initial leadership experience with clear willingness to build and lead a team
• Confident use of standard marketing tools (analytics, CRM, marketing automation, CMS)
