Senior Projekt & Engagement Manager (m/w/d) FinTech

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Project & Engagement Manager to take ownership of complex client projects at the intersection of consulting, product management, and development. You will:

• Lead and coordinate complex client projects with professional stakeholder management across multiple functions
• Proactively identify and manage risks, challenges, and escalations before they impact delivery
• Act as a sparring partner and subject matter expert for consultants on technical and project-related questions
• Drive the evolution of project standards, templates, and monitoring processes to improve organizational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with clients, product management teams, and development teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Build sustainable structures and best practices that support long-term organizational growth

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business, Finance, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in project management or engagement management, ideally within IT, consulting, or financial services environments
• Strong financial acumen combined with genuine interest in complex software and digitalization topics
• Exceptional organizational skills with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality and high degree of personal initiative
• Excellent German and English language skills (both required for client and internal communication)
• Comfort operating with autonomy while managing diverse stakeholder expectations
• Experience bridging technical and business perspectives in a client-facing capacity
