The Opportunity
As our Fleet Maintenance Foreperson, you'll oversee the maintenance and repair of our commercial vehicle fleet that supports operations across the region. Your Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and mechanics
- Schedule preventive maintenance and oversee routine service for all fleet vehicles
- Diagnose vehicle mechanical issues and determine repair strategies
- Track maintenance costs and manage the fleet maintenance budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and vehicle service history
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify vehicles requiring immediate attention
- Coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a fleet maintenance supervisor or similar leadership role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with commercial vehicles
- Ability to manage staff, assign tasks, and maintain team accountability
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and maintenance software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
