Role Overview
Zigabyte Corporation is seeking a Help Desk Mid Shift Lead to oversee mid-shift help desk operations for the Field Assistance Service program in Montgomery, Alabama. You'll direct a team of support technicians responsible for 24/7/365 help desk coverage to Air Force personnel and systems. This leadership position combines hands-on technical expertise with team supervision, performance management, and shift-level operational coordination.
Responsibilities
- Supervise help desk team members and coordinate daily operations during assigned shifts
- Manage support tickets, escalation workflows, and response times aligned with Air Force service level agreements
- Deliver technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across Air Force systems
- Train, mentor, and support team members on technical procedures and professional standards
- Monitor system health and ensure seamless handoffs between shifts for continuous operations
- Document team performance, support metrics, and operational reports for stakeholders
- Engage with Air Force leadership to prioritize support needs and operational improvements

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing help desk or IT support teams
- Strong technical foundation in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Proficiency with help desk ticketing systems and SLA management
