What This Role Involves

As a teacher in our alternate route program, you'll deliver engaging instruction across grades preK–12, supported by Kreyco's partnership model that connects strong educators with our network of schools. You'll work within established classrooms or collaborative learning environments, drawing on both your subject knowledge and your commitment to student success. The role combines daily teaching responsibilities with professional development and mentorship as you complete your certification journey.

Core Duties

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons that engage diverse learners
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and Kreyco mentors
• Communicate regularly with students and families
• Participate in professional development and certification coursework

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (in any field)
• Subject matter expertise or deep knowledge in your intended teaching area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for working with students of all backgrounds
• Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to continuous growth
• Eligible for or already pursuing New Jersey teacher certification
