About the Role
This part-time teaching position offers the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization dedicated to transforming K–12 education through direct partnerships with schools and teachers. What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver engaging biology and life science curriculum aligned with state standards
- Create dynamic lessons that connect core concepts to real-world applications and student interests
- Build positive relationships with students, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in the life sciences
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success
- Use evidence-based teaching practices and appropriate instructional materials and technology
What We're Looking For
- Current or eligible teaching credential in Biology or Life Science, or equivalent state certification
- Demonstrated expertise in biology, life science, or related STEM field
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learners
- Commitment to educational equity and supporting all students
- Professional approach to collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement
- Passion for creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
