About the Role

This position invites educators to deliver engaging biology and life science instruction to preK‑12 learners on a part‑time basis. You’ll partner with local schools to provide curriculum‑aligned lessons that meet state standards and foster scientific curiosity.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement lesson plans that cover core biology concepts such as cell structure, genetics, ecology, and human anatomy.
• Assess student progress through formative checks, quizzes, and projects, adjusting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and respect for all learners.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in accordance with school policies.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff to share updates on student achievement and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities offered by Kreyco to stay current with instructional best practices and science education trends.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and laboratory protocols when conducting hands‑on experiments or demonstrations.

What We're Looking For

• A valid teaching certification or eligibility to teach biology/life science in the state of Wisconsin.
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering science instruction to middle or high school students.
• Strong knowledge of NGSS or state‑specific science standards and the ability to translate them into engaging classroom activities.
• Effective classroom management skills and a passion for fostering student interest in scientific inquiry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Flexibility to work part‑time hours and adapt to varying school schedules.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and willingness to incorporate feedback from mentors and peers.
