About the Role

As a CDL-A Driver with Hogan Transportation, you'll operate commercial vehicles on regional and dedicated freight routes throughout our service territory. This is a full-time opportunity to deliver goods safely and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. You'll be the face of our company to our customers, taking pride in both your driving performance and your vehicle's condition.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles on assigned regional and dedicated routes
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain and monitor electronic logging devices (ELDs) in compliance with DOT regulations
• Properly secure and inspect freight loads before departure
• Follow all Department of Transportation safety standards and company policies
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding route progress and any issues
• Deliver freight shipments on schedule and in excellent condition

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) or eligible to obtain one
• Strong working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and identify mechanical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and on-time delivery
• Reliability and professional work ethic
• Comfort using electronic logging device (ELD) systems
