About the Role

As a CDL-A Driver with Hogan Transportation, you'll operate commercial vehicles on regional and dedicated freight routes throughout our service territory. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles on assigned regional and dedicated routes
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain and monitor electronic logging devices (ELDs) in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Properly secure and inspect freight loads before departure
  • Follow all Department of Transportation safety standards and company policies
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding route progress and any issues
  • Deliver freight shipments on schedule and in excellent condition

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) or eligible to obtain one
  • Strong working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and identify mechanical issues
