What This Role Involves

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting maintenance issues
• Operate commercial trucks safely on assigned regional and dedicated routes
• Record all trip activity accurately using electronic logging devices (ELDs), maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations
• Secure cargo properly according to DOT requirements and company protocols
• Coordinate with dispatch throughout your route regarding progress, delivery times, and any operational issues
• Deliver freight safely while providing professional service to customers and receiving facilities
