What This Role Involves

As a Dry Van Truck Driver at ATS, you'll operate modern dry van trailers across regional and long-haul routes, ensuring freight arrives safely and on schedule. You'll represent Anderson Trucking Service to our customers, managing deliveries with professionalism while maintaining strict vehicle care and DOT compliance standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate dry van equipment on assigned routes, meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report maintenance needs
• Coordinate with dispatch and loading teams to optimize routing and timely pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate logbooks and adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with customers and office staff regarding status, delays, or roadside issues
• Uphold vehicle condition and appearance to reflect ATS's reputation for quality service

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating dry van trailers and demonstrated safety awareness
• Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and professional driving standards
• Reliable, professional communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated and disciplined approach to independent road operations
