Core Duties

• Welcome customers and respond to inquiries about bakery and deli products with knowledge and enthusiasm
• Prepare and package bakery and deli items according to customer requests and company standards
• Operate bakery and deli equipment, including slicers, scales, and display cases, safely and effectively
• Organize, stock, and rotate bakery and deli inventory to ensure product freshness and availability
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and department areas throughout your shift
• Support the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets through excellent customer service
• Follow food safety protocols and quality assurance standards to protect customer health and satisfaction
• Assist with pricing, labeling, and promotional activities as directed

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus but not required
