Local Contract Nurse RN – Interventional Radiology – $70 per hour

Stability Healthcare is hiring a full-time contract Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology for a dynamic 13-week assignment in Modesto, Stanislaus County, California. Position Summary

This full-time interventional radiology nursing position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced specialty environment. You'll be embedded in a clinical team performing advanced imaging-guided procedures. The 13-week contract runs on a standard 40-hour-per-week schedule with eight-hour day shifts, providing predictable hours and stability while you contribute to patient care excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists and attending physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
• Prepare and manage sterile equipment and supplies for each procedure
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition throughout procedures; report any changes immediately
• Manage patient positioning and comfort to ensure safe, effective imaging and intervention
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the patient record
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols throughout all procedures
• Coordinate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to optimize workflow

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in California
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Modesto at the assigned facility
• Clinical background in acute care, procedural nursing, or a related specialty
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or assist patients
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards
• BLS certification (if not current, willingness to obtain)
