About the Role

As a Travel Labor and Delivery RN with Stability Healthcare, you'll join a maternity care team in Wausau on a 13-week assignment beginning July 20, 2026. The position follows a 36-hour weekly schedule built around 12-hour day shifts, giving you a consistent routine while delivering hands-on bedside care. This is a travel (contract) role, not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes during the birthing process.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the wider care team to carry out individualized birth plans.
• Educate and reassure expectant parents and families before, during, and after delivery.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately while upholding patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice in Wisconsin.
• Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Availability for the full 13-week contract, working 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours per week, starting July 20, 2026.
• Flexibility and adaptability suited to a travel nursing assignment.
