About the Role
As Regional Manager for Higher Education at Northern Impact, you'll lead operations and growth initiatives for the region, overseeing client relationships, project delivery, and team performance across the architecture and design practice. You'll partner with studio leadership to expand our presence in the K-12 and higher education sectors while maintaining the award-winning quality our clients expect.
What You'll Do
- Manage and mentor a regional team, fostering a collaborative culture that delivers exceptional design work
- Build and nurture client relationships with education institutions, school districts, and university systems
- Oversee project management, timelines, and budget performance to ensure client satisfaction and profitability
- Identify business development opportunities and lead proposals for higher education clients
- Monitor market trends and competitive positioning to inform growth strategy
- Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and scheduling commitments
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a manager or leader in architecture, design, or related professional services
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of the higher education market, K-12 design projects, or institutional sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and inspire teams
- Strategic mindset with ability to balance operations, profitability, and team development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in architecture, design management, or business
