Senior Project Manager

Northern Impact is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Berkeley, Alameda County office. In this full-time position, you'll lead complex architectural projects from initiation through completion while managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams at one of the nation's most decorated design firms.

About the Role

You'll own project delivery across Northern Impact's diverse portfolio of education, healthcare, sports, and corporate architecture. From K-12 schools and universities to medical facilities and institutional buildings, you'll ensure each engagement meets our standards for design excellence and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Direct project execution across all phases, from initial planning through final delivery
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet business objectives
• Communicate regularly with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to align priorities and resolve issues
• Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep work on schedule and on budget
• Oversee quality standards and ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements
• Participate in business development activities and project proposals for new client opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Track record managing large-scale architectural or design projects independently
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software for scheduling and budget control
• Strong leadership presence and ability to guide diverse teams toward shared objectives
• Clear, professional communication style and genuine interest in collaborative problem-solving
• Understanding of architectural practice, construction management, or related industries
• Bachelor's degree in project management, architecture, construction management, business, or equivalent professional experience
