About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant with Mercy in Village, Oklahoma County, you'll work directly with a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver therapeutic care to patients spanning all ages and conditions. Your role is to implement treatment protocols, monitor patient progress, and contribute to comprehensive care plans that help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. What You'll Do

• Conduct functional assessments and assist in gathering clinical data to inform treatment planning
• Implement individualized therapy programs under clinical supervision, adapting approaches to patient needs
• Document patient progress, observations, and outcomes according to regulatory and departmental standards
• Support patients across diverse age groups—pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Maintain treatment spaces, equipment, and materials to ensure safe, organized clinical environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate seamless patient care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and safety to promote sustained progress

What We're Looking For

• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification (COTA) or eligible to obtain it
• Strong clinical knowledge of occupational therapy principles and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
