About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician with Legacy Communities IV LLC, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repair of community facilities, equipment, and grounds. This is a full-time position based in Medford, offering the opportunity to be part of a cohesive team dedicated to maintaining quality living environments for our residents.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical components, and HVAC equipment
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on community facilities and resident amenities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management
- Repair or replace fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, locks, and other structural elements
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and work orders
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with common area systems and resident-facing infrastructure
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Support grounds maintenance activities including landscaping, snow removal, and facility cleaning
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related facility maintenance role
- Practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to responding to requests in a timely manner
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications (such as EPA 608 for refrigeration) are a plus
