About the Role
As a Cooler Technician at CLARK BEVERAGE GROUP INC, you'll perform installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial beverage cooler equipment. Reporting to the Cooler Service Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring customer cooling systems operate reliably, whether you're setting up new installations or performing repairs and preventive maintenance in the field.
What You'll Do
- Install new cooler equipment at customer locations according to company standards and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive service to keep equipment operating at peak performance
- Diagnose and repair cooler systems, troubleshooting mechanical issues when they arise
- Lift, carry, and position heavy cooler equipment (regularly lifting 50 lbs or more throughout the day)
- Prepare and configure equipment prior to installation, ensuring all components meet company quality standards
- Document work performed, including service details and maintenance records for tracking and compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols during service activities
What We're Looking For
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual tasks multiple times daily
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Reliability, consistent attendance, and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to following company standards and safety procedures
- Basic organizational and communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with customers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites in and around Starkville
