About the Role

As a Data Management Specialist with PATH's Orange County team, you'll play a crucial role in the Coordinated Entry System (CES) Administration, collaborating with the County of Orange and housing providers to connect vulnerable populations with appropriate supportive services and permanent housing solutions. Your work directly impacts our ability to serve homeless and at-risk communities efficiently and compassionately through reliable, secure data management practices.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee data system operations including user account management, access provisioning, and program configuration updates
  • Implement quality assurance protocols aligned with HUD requirements, data privacy regulations, and contractual standards
  • Monitor data quality and integrity through systematic validation, error correction, and compliance tracking
  • Develop and refine data management policies and operational procedures
  • Maintain expertise in agency databases, particularly HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) Clarity
  • Ensure adherence to CES policies, HUD regulations, and coordinated referral processes
  • Produce comprehensive program documentation and performance assessments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Two years of professional experience in data management, program evaluation, research, or nonprofit administration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Four years of experience in data management, program evaluation, research, or nonprofit administration with HUD-funded programs
  • Hands-on experience with HMIS or comparable social services data systems

Required to Succeed in This Role

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation (essential function of the position)
  • Proof of vehicle insurance
  • Ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage
  • Current employment authorization in the United States
  • Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid certification
  • Clearance of background check, tuberculosis screening, and drug test as a condition of employment
