Registered Nurse (RN) – SICU

Tenet Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in Clover, York County—a full-time position where you'll deliver high-quality patient care in a critical care setting.

What This Role Involves

In this role, you'll provide direct patient care in our SICU, supporting post-operative and critically ill patients through education, clinical expertise, and close collaboration with our multidisciplinary healthcare team. You'll develop and document individualized care plans, monitor vital functions, and perform essential nursing interventions while maintaining the highest standards of practice and pursuing your own professional growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside care to SICU patients, including post-operative monitoring and critical assessment
• Initiate, implement, and document patient care plans within specified timeframes
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinical team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform nursing interventions based on clinical protocols and evidence-based standards
• Monitor and respond to patient status changes with clinical judgment and professionalism
• Educate patients and families about their care and recovery process
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation

Who We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (North Carolina or other applicable state)
• Active BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in critical care, SICU, or similar acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, quality care
• Professional demeanor and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
