CDL-A Company Driver – 1-5mo EXP Required – OTR – Dry Van – $1.7k per week – U.S. Xpress – OTR

U.S. Xpress is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for full-time, over-the-road positions based out of Fowlerville, Livingston County. If you hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with 1-5 months of professional experience, we're looking to add you to our OTR dry van fleet.

About the Role

As a CDL-A company driver with U.S. Xpress, you'll operate a dry van unit on long-haul routes across the United States. This is a dedicated over-the-road position designed for drivers ready to spend extended time away from home and log consistent miles. You'll work under a rotating schedule typical of OTR operations.

What You'll Earn

• Mileage-based pay: 57 to 64 cents per mile, depending on your experience level
• Top-performing OTR drivers in our fleet earn $1,700 per week
• Guaranteed weekly minimum pay of $1,500 (on a 12 days out / 2 days home schedule)
• Average of 2,000 miles per week
• $4,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates
• Team Driver Option: Pair with a partner for $5,000 sign-on bonus, 5,000 miles weekly average, and $0.72–$0.80 per mile split compensation

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial truck safely across multiple states
• Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with all federal motor carrier regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Transport dry van freight on established OTR routes
• Meet on-time delivery expectations and customer requirements

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• 1 to 5 months of verifiable OTR driving experience
• Clean driving record meeting DOT standards
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Comfort with time away from home for extended periods
• Professional attitude and commitment to safety
