About the Role
As a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse on our Surgical A4 unit, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient assessments and collaborating with the surgical care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring vital signs and patient responses to medications and interventions
- Providing wound care management and post-operative support
- Ensuring patient safety through adherence to protocols and best practices
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record

Successful candidates will have:
- Current Connecticut RN licensure or eligibility for Graduate Nurse certification
