About the Role

As a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse on our Surgical A4 unit, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting patient assessments and collaborating with the surgical care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitoring vital signs and patient responses to medications and interventions
  • Providing wound care management and post-operative support
  • Ensuring patient safety through adherence to protocols and best practices
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record
