About the Role

As Dance Assistant Coach, you'll work alongside our head coach to develop student talent, foster technical discipline, and inspire a love of dance. This role is ideal for someone passionate about choreography, performance technique, and youth athletic development. You'll contribute directly to rehearsals, competitions, and school performances while helping students build confidence and leadership skills both on and off the stage.

What You'll Do

• Support all aspects of dance team operations, including technique drills, conditioning, and choreography assistance
• Help prepare and develop students for competitions, performances, and showcases throughout the season
• Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to dancers of varying experience levels
• Assist with rehearsal planning, inventory management, equipment coordination, and event logistics
• Model and reinforce the character values PACT emphasizes: respect, citizenship, gratitude, compassion, integrity, and cooperation
• Collaborate with head coaching staff and the broader PACT community to support each student's growth
• Maintain a positive, inclusive team environment that celebrates effort and achievement

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in dance instruction, performance, choreography, or competitive dance backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of dance technique, multiple styles, and training methodologies for student athletes
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills with an ability to inspire and motivate young dancers
• Proven ability to work effectively with student athletes and build a positive, supportive team culture

• Professional reliability, enthusiasm for youth coaching, and flexibility for rehearsal and competition schedules
