About the Role

This full-time teaching position offers you the chance to lead engaging instruction in social studies across our secondary program. Based on our Ramsey campus, you'll work with students who are developing their voices as informed, thoughtful citizens. The role begins August 12, 2026.

What You'll Do

• Teach social studies curriculum aligned with Minnesota standards, covering history, government, culture, and civics
• Design lessons that integrate primary sources, discussion, and real-world problem-solving
• Assess student learning through multiple methods and provide meaningful feedback
• Foster an inclusive classroom where every student feels welcomed and challenged to grow
• Mentor students in both academic and personal character development
• Communicate with families about student progress and school updates
• Partner with colleagues to maintain curriculum coherence and support student transitions
• Contribute to school-wide professional growth and collaborative initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Valid Minnesota teaching license or pathway to licensure in social studies
• Bachelor's degree with background in history, political science, or related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to engage diverse learners and foster critical thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication with students and families
• Genuine commitment to character education and student agency
• Collaborative mindset and openness to working within a dedicated team culture
