Maintenance Technician

Exegistics Resource Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full‑time role based in Watson, Clark County.

About the Role

This position supports the upkeep of a wood veneer manufacturing facility, ensuring that production lines run smoothly and safely. The technician will work closely with operations staff to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out repairs that keep equipment at peak performance. The role also involves following lockout/tagout procedures, maintaining a clean work environment, and contributing to lean manufacturing efforts.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and service manufacturing machinery, including presses, conveyors, and drying systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults on production equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and downtime incidents.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and modifications to existing lines.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize production interruptions.
• Coordinate with external service contractors for specialized repairs.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Solid problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards.
