Allstate, through its National General brand, is hiring a full-time Bilingual Direct Sales Agent Specialist to join its team in Norfolk, Virginia — a consumer-facing sales role dedicated to connecting Spanish- and English-speaking customers with home, auto, and accident and health insurance solutions.

As a Bilingual Direct Sales Agent Specialist in Norfolk, you'll sell insurance products directly to consumers rather than through a broker channel. What You'll Do

• Engage prospective customers in both English and Spanish to assess their coverage needs and recommend appropriate home, auto, or accident and health insurance products
• Guide customers through the full sales cycle — from initial inquiry and needs analysis to application completion and policy issuance
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets while maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction
• Explain policy terms, coverage options, and premium structures clearly and accurately to a bilingual consumer base
• Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads, following up promptly to maximize conversion
• Stay current on National General and Allstate product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and state insurance regulations applicable to Virginia
• Accurately document customer interactions and application data in company systems

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in both English and Spanish — written and spoken — is required for this bilingual specialist position
• Demonstrated experience in direct-to-consumer sales; prior insurance sales experience is a strong plus
• An active Virginia Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance license, or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
• Strong consultative communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly across diverse customer backgrounds
• Self-motivated, results-driven approach suited to a performance-based sales environment
• Comfort working with CRM tools and digital quoting platforms
