About This Position

This is your opportunity to shape the operational backbone of Acuity International's Cape Canaveral location. As Director of Administration and Facilities, you'll command a comprehensive portfolio spanning building operations, administrative infrastructure, and facilities management. You'll partner with department leaders to ensure seamless day-to-day functionality while positioning our campus as a model of efficiency and compliance. This role demands strategic vision paired with hands-on accountability for multiple facility systems, staffing, budgets, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Core Duties

• Direct all building operations, maintenance activities, and facilities infrastructure to meet organizational needs and safety standards
• Lead and develop the facilities management team, assigning responsibilities and fostering a culture of professional excellence
• Manage facilities budget planning, capital projects, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize cost and service delivery
• Ensure strict adherence to safety codes, environmental regulations, and industry compliance requirements across all facilities
• Coordinate space planning, resource allocation, and facility improvements aligned with business strategy
• Oversee building systems, equipment maintenance, preventive care schedules, and emergency response protocols
• Develop and implement sustainable practices and operational efficiencies to reduce waste and improve performance
• Serve as liaison between facilities operations and senior leadership regarding capital projects, policies, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, building operations, or administrative leadership roles
• Demonstrated expertise in building systems, HVAC, electrical infrastructure, and maintenance management
• Strong knowledge of safety codes, environmental compliance, and occupational regulations
• Proven success with budget development, financial management, and capital project oversight
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management capabilities
• Experience coordinating with external contractors, vendors, and service providers
• Proficiency with facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and willingness to respond to operational emergencies as needed
