Zone Cashier

Join Comoto as a Zone Cashier in our Katy, TX location, where you'll play a key part in our store operations and customer service team. This is a part-time position for someone ready to deliver excellent customer experiences while managing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

What This Role Involves

As a Zone Cashier at Comoto in Katy, you'll be the face of our customer transactions, operating at the checkout area and handling the full spectrum of payment processing. You'll work in a fast-paced retail environment, supporting our store operations through reliable, honest, and customer-focused service. Your accuracy, speed, and professionalism directly impact both customer satisfaction and store performance.

Core Duties

• Process customer payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash, card, and digital transactions
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout zone and ensure all equipment functions properly
• Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and other service needs at the register
• Count and balance cash drawers at the start and end of shifts
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and transaction security
• Support broader store operations as directed by management

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in cashier, customer service, or retail roles (preferred but not required)
• Strong numerical accuracy and comfort with payment systems
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and willingness to follow company procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a busy checkout environment
